Goodfish Limited is a group of toolmaking and plastic injection moulding businesses with manufacturing, printing, assembly and design facilities based in Cannock and Worcester.

To date the firm has worked with a vast range of international customers based in Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, India, USA, Portugal, France, Spain and even China – all impressed by the industry leading timescales offered as well as the recent acquisition of printing and polymer coating machinery.

Goodfish is most proud of its capability to undertake all stages of toolmaking and plastic injection moulding in-house – from design for manufacture right through to customer delivery.

Our sponsorship of the Made Here Now programme in Phase 2 and 5, is testament to our belief in the need to encourage young people to choose a career in manufacturing. The programme, which was launched in 2015, has developed a wreath of resources to encourage a greater understanding of what possibilities lie ahead for those people who are considering a career in industry.

As well as highlighting career possibilities, Made Here Now has developed education pathways which have helped inform our own strategy for developing young talent.

For a, chosen few, Goodfish operates a by-invitation development programme called ‘Young Guns’. This programme, which is led by Greg McDonald, is a very personal guide to the world of finance, manufacturing, current affairs, leadership and career development, drawing on the maverick and varied experiences of our Chief Executive and Chairman.

In addition, Goodfish takes one or two engineering or product design undergraduates each year for 9-month internships (September to June) from universities in the Midlands. If you would like our HR & Development team to engage with your university, college or school, to help your student understand what it can mean to work in an SME company (working on losing the ‘S’), then please get in touch with our HR & Development team.
